Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Non-Exempt under FLSA.
• Salary schedule per Approved Nutrition Services Salary Schedule.
• 9 Month terms of employment.

Responsibilities

• Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
• Arrange food and beverages for serving to students and staff.
• Assist in stocking food, condiments and supplies.
• Clean utensils, equipment and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Cook food for mandated nutritional and projected meal requirements.
• Implement menu plans to meet daily nutritional requirements.
• Inspect items for quantity, quality and health standards.
• Inventory food and supplies to meet menu needs.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen and cafeteria areas.
• Monitor kitchen and cafeteria safety and sanitation.
• Perform other nutritional services duties as needed.
• Prepare food and beverage items to meet nutritional requirements.
• Report equipment malfunctions for repair.
• Respond to inquiries regarding available food items and policies.

Education
