Job summary

The YMCA of Central Massachusetts seeks a full-time Food Service Manager to oversee meal preparation for students and maintain a clean kitchen. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, relevant experience, and strong communication skills.

You will ensure compliance with federal guidelines while managing kitchen operations, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The position offers a competitive hourly wage along with generous benefits including medical and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• At least two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possession of current ServSafe Certification and Allergen Awareness Training preferred.
• Able to communicate fluently verbally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals while maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with Federal guidelines for Child Nutrition Program.
• Assist with menu implementation according to daily nutrition requirements.
