Job summary

The Nutrition Services worker at Cooper School within Robbinsdale Area Schools assists in the preparation and service of meals for students. The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 2:00pm, for 6.5 hours, with a 30-minute unpaid break.

It is a Category I, hourly wage from $19.12 to $23.78 plus a $0.50 secondary stipend, non-exempt per the Nutrition Services contract. ServSafe certification is required within six months of employment.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification within the first 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to students.
• Operate ovens and equipment as needed.
• Maintain daily records of food production and inventory.
• Serve as cashier for student and staff lunches; assist with cashier technology.
• Handle food service according to menu and guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation of kitchen equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
