Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate required.
• Six (6) months food service experience with demonstrated “back-up” managerial experience required.
• Ability to supervise and manage School Nutrition staff; strong sanitation and safety knowledge.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to USDA guidelines and AACPS policies for meal preparation and service.
• Manages food service operations, supervising staff and maintaining records.
• Responsible for ordering, inventory, and sanitation per COMAR and HACCP.
• Ensures security of cash handling and bank procedures.
