Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in food service, or two years of formal training in food service and one year of experience.
• Managers are also required to obtain and keep current ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises food production and service to ensure quality and proper presentation.
• Requisitions foods and supplies; verifies quantity and quality of items received; maintains storage and rotation.
• Oversees equipment use; coordinates repairs and safety practices; monitors sanitation and facility usage.
• Assigns work, maintains time sheets, trains staff, and evaluates performance; handles hiring/discipline and reports.
