Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily school cafeteria operations.
• Train food service staff to perform duties including prep, service, cleanup and cashiering.
• Learn and follow USDA regulations governing programs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Order weekly supplies by established due dates.
• Forecast production needs as requested by the School Nutrition Manager.
• Read and follow standardized recipes.
• Check quality and accuracy of deliveries and invoices.
• Act as manager in the manager’s absence.
• Cashier duties and customer service with students and staff.
