Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a School Nutrition Program Lead to assist the SNS Manager in daily cafeteria operations. The role includes supervising staff, training team members, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations, and maintaining high customer service standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ServSafe certification, and the ability to travel between work sites within the district. 10 months, 187 days, 7 hours per day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a current ServSafe certification.
• Must obtain an SNA Level 1 Certificate within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of food service methods and practices, including proper food safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsabilités

• Supports the SNS Manager in the daily operations of the school cafeteria.
• Supervise a food service operation and train staff to perform food service tasks (preparation, serving, cleanup, cashiering).
• Learn and follow USDA regulations governing programs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Order weekly supplies by established due dates.
• Forecast production needs as requested by the School Nutrition Manager.
• Read and follow standardized recipes furnished by School Nutrition.
• Check quality, quantity and accuracy of weekly deliveries and invoices.
• Act as manager in the manager's absence.
• Occasionally cashier and handle money with customers.
• Unpack and store supplies in designated storage areas.
• Assist in completion of daily production records and closing paperwork.
