Job summary

Conway Public School District is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals to students and staff at the district's schools. The role requires following directions, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining health and safety standards.

You will report to the Food Service Manager and participate in all duties necessary to keep the school food service program running smoothly during the 178-day contract period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understands and follows oral and written directions.
• Experience in food service operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow district policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations.
• Operate commercial food service equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory, record-keeping, and money handling as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and serving areas.
• Support in all activities necessary for the food service program.
