Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group seeks a Food Service General Manager to lead a nutrition-driven operation serving students and staff. You will oversee daily dining services, financials, staff development, and compliance, ensuring high-quality, nutritious meals.

The role requires strong leadership, food safety knowledge, and experience in contract dining. A ServSafe Manager certification is preferred and knowledge of local health ordinances is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in hospitality/food service management or related field.
• Experience in contract food service or institutional dining is essential.
• Proven leadership with P&L ownership and team management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a food service team delivering nutritious meals.
• Oversee scheduling, inventory, compliance, and safety.
• Manage budgets, staffing, vendor relations, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with staff to support student health and wellbeing.
• Ensure compliance with health codes and HACCP standards.
