Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals from recipes to meet nutritional standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and prep areas.
• Monitor kitchen operations for safe, sanitary practices.
• Maintain inventory of food, supplies, and condiments.
• Prepare special dietary meals and allergy-safe items.
• Evaluate food quality and presentation before service.
• Assist with serving meals to students and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings on food service operations.
• Assist with other duties to ensure adequate staffing.
