Job summary

Duplin County Schools is seeking a School Nutrition Assistant to support daily cafeteria operations and ensure nutritious meals are served in a clean, caring environment. You will help with food preparation, serving, cashiering, and basic records under the School Nutrition Manager’s guidance.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, assisting in inventory and ordering, and handling routine reporting for NSLP compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in institutional food preparation.
• Ability to manage cash handling and customer service.

Responsibilities
