Whitsons in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our Fuel the Future program, serving healthy meals to students and staff. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, and emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a welcoming mealtime experience.

You will prep, portion, and serve meals, maintain clean stations, and follow food safety procedures. Training is provided; the pay rate is $17.50/hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must complete Whitsons and government-mandated training.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
