Job summary
University Health Partners of Hawaii seeks a Complex Area Lead RN to lead and mentor Hawaii Keiki nurses and health technicians in the Campbell High School complex area. The role includes training, advising, and supporting nursing staff, as well as participating in school-health committees and stakeholder groups.
The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with a 10-month schedule and federal/state holidays and break coverage.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
- Current unrestricted RN license in Hawaii.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Experience with electronic health records and program reporting.
- 1 year of experience in community-based health settings or school nursing.
- Knowledge of medical information release procedures and laws.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations for blood borne pathogens.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to Hawaii Keiki nurses and health technicians.
- Train, mentor and support RNs and APRNs in the complex area.
- Participate in committees and stakeholder groups supporting school nursing.
