Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a School Nurse for the Work Campus Care: School Nurse Program. This full-time role (36 hours/week) follows a Mon-Fri school schedule and involves delivering nursing care in a school setting.

You will administer medications, provide basic first aid, and support CPR training for staff while managing chronic conditions and maintaining student records. An RN license in Georgia is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state the teammate practices.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Administers OTC and prescription medications.
• Provide basic first aid.
• CPR training for staff.
• Manage healthcare needs such as asthma, diabetes and epilepsy as examples.
• Develop and maintain relations with parents and stakeholders in the schools.
• Document in Power School and keep medical information up to date.
• Reviews and updates immunization and health records at the school.
