Job summary

HTU is seeking a Florida-licensed RN to provide school health services for students in Brevard County. You will administer medications, perform first aid, and assist with health screenings under supervision.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, coordinating with the screening team, and communicating with parents. Requires CPR/First Aid certification before onboarding and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification before onboarding.
• Pediatric medical setting experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with transportation to travel within Brevard County.
• Ability to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
• Strong record-keeping and electronic documentation skills.
• Physical ability to lift 10–20 lbs and assist students.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing services to students under supervision.
• Administer first aid and medications as ordered by physician.
• Organize and assist with state mandated health screenings.
• Maintain a clean health unit and inventory of medical supplies.
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation.
• Establish good relationships with staff.
• Assist health screening team with scheduling and data entry.
• Prepare mailings to parents/guardians regarding results.
• Attend required trainings and submit reports on time.
• May work outside normal hours during emergencies.
