Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 1:1 kindergarten position with Penn Manor School District in Millersville, PA. The RN will provide dedicated nursing care to a single student with complex medical needs, including central line and G-tube care, and will accompany the student on the school bus.

The role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to collaborate with teachers, family, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous 1:1 nursing support throughout the school day.
• Monitor and manage the student's medical needs (central line and G-tube).
• Follow individualized healthcare and emergency plans.
• Provide nursing interventions and medications as directed.
• Monitor for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Communicate with teachers, school staff, family and healthcare providers.

Cross Country Education is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 1:1 kindergarten position with Penn Manor School District in Millersville, PA. This role provides dedicated nursing care to one kindergarten student with complex medical needs, including a central line (mainline) and G-tube, and includes a school bus-riding responsibility.

• Position: 1:1 Kindergarten Registered Nurse
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Pay: $40–$42/hr on W-2
• Medical Needs: Student has a central line (mainline) and G-tube
• Transportation: RN will ride the school bus with the student
• Morning Bus Pickup: Approximately 7:50 AM at the student's home
• Afternoon Bus Drop-Off: Approximately 4:27 PM at the student's home

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous 1:1 nursing support throughout the school day
• Monitor and manage the student's medical needs, including care related to their central line and G-tube
• Follow the student's individualized healthcare and emergency care plans
• Provide appropriate nursing interventions and medication/treatment support as directed
• Monitor the student for changes in condition and respond appropriately
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
• Communicate and collaborate with teachers, school staff, family, and healthcare providers
• Ride the school bus with the student and provide appropriate nursing support during transportation

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) credential in good standing
• Pediatric, medically complex, or school-based nursing experience preferred
• Experience with central line and G-tube care strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to provide attentive, individualized care in a school and transportation setting
