Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a School Nurse (LVN or RN) in Los Angeles, onsite. This role supports medically fragile students with day-to-day nursing care and health services within a school environment.

Opportunities are available for full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules. Licensed professionals will administer medications, manage equipment, and collaborate with school staff to ensure student safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active LVN or RN license.
• CPR certification.
• Current physical within the last year.
• Current PPD within the last year (Chest X-Ray acceptable if positive).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and health support services to medically fragile students.
• Administer medications, manage medical equipment, and perform nursing procedures as needed.
• Support students requiring ventilator care, tracheostomy care, diabetes management, catheterization, and tube feedings.
• Monitor student health status and respond appropriately to medical needs throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with school staff and interdisciplinary teams to promote student safety and well‑being.
• Maintain accurate health documentation and comply with district and nursing standards.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and additional duties as assigned.
• Support a safe and inclusive educational environment for all students.
