FullShift Staffing is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide school nursing care for children in California. The role includes screenings, medication administration, and health education within a Fresno-area school district.

Minimum requirements include an LVN license, CPR/BLS, and a negative TB test. Previous pediatrics and school setting experience are preferred, with physical duties as described, and a schedule aligned with selected schools.

Qualifications

• Pediatric care experience preferred.
• Experience working in a school district is beneficial.
• Active California LVN licensure is required for employment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct student hearing and vision screenings.
• Educate students on hygiene and safety practices.
• Dispense prescription medications to students per physician instructions.
• Verify vaccination records for students.
• Take students' temperatures when fever is suspected.
• Administer first aid and CPR.
• Treat minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes and bruises.
• Contact parents when students are ill or injured.
