Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is seeking a School Nurse for the Lakewood, WA area for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time on-site role provides direct nursing care for students in a 1:1 setting, including trach/vent care where required.

You will manage health records, collaborate on IHPs/IEPs, and support health education within districts. Active RN license in the state is required; BSN and School Nurse Services Credential are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of service.
• BSN preferred and School Nurse Services Credential where required.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid and medication administration.
• Monitor health records and documentation per district/state guidelines.
• Collaborate to develop IHPs and emergency care plans.
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings with medical insights.
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with screenings and immunizations.
• Respond to health emergencies with appropriate interventions.
• Maintain HIPAA/FERPA confidentiality.

What You’ll Be Doing*:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic health conditions.
• Monitor student health and maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency care plans.
• Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings when needed, contributing medical and health-related insights.
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community.
• Ensure compliance with state-mandated screenings and immunization requirements.
• Respond to health emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and FERPA regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where services will be provided.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• School Nurse Services Credential (where required).
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently.
