Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking School Nurses - RN/LPN to provide one-to-one nursing services for students with complex medical needs in Washington County, MD, for the 2026-2027 school year. Positions are long-term independent contracts with schedules Mon-Fri 8am-3:30pm.

Current RN or LPN license, ability to work with school personnel, parents and children, and ability to pass clearances (Criminal) and CPR certification are required. Weekly pay and flexible scheduling are available.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license and ability to work with school personnel, parents and children.
• Ability to complete and pass clearances: Criminal background.
• CPR certification or equivalent lifesaving training.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one nursing services for a student with complex medical needs.
• Observe health patterns and make nursing judgments.
• Implement plans for chronic conditions and coordinate medication administration.
• Demonstrate listening, speaking and written communication skills.
• Occasionally accompany students on field trips.
• Assess health concerns and care for students with special healthcare needs.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Provide one-to-one nursing services for a student with complex medical needs.
• Observe students for development and health patterns, making a nursing judgement and diagnosis.
• Implement plans for students with chronic health problems and coordinate administration of medication within State law and Board policies.
• Demonstrate effective skills of listening, speaking and writing.
• Occasionally accompany children on field trips.
• Assess health complaints and care for students with special healthcare needs.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Current Registered Nurse or LPN license
• Ability to work with school personnel, parents and children
• Ability to complete and pass clearances: Criminal
• Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: CPR certification
