Job summary

Rivermont Schools is seeking a School Nurse (LPN/RN) to support student health and wellness during the school day. You will assist with medication administration, first aid, and health monitoring under the direction of a Certified School Nurse or physician.

The role requires a Virginia RN or LPN license, at least two years of nursing experience with children, and strong communication and organizational skills. A valid Virginia driver’s license is also expected.

As a School Nurse (LPN/RN) at Rivermont Schools, you will support student health and wellness by providing compassionate, high-quality care throughout the school day. What You’ll Need

• Current Virginia license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Minimum of two years of experience providing nursing services to children
• Knowledge of medical disorders, treatment procedures, medication administration, and infection control
• Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to school health services
• Strong communication, documentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with students, families, staff, and multidisciplinary team members
• Valid Virginia driver’s license
