Affton 101 School District, Affton High School, is seeking a School Nurse to support student health across grades 9-12. The role involves health assessments, planning interventions, and follow-ups to promote student success in learning. Immediate start, 40 hours/week, full benefits.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, as well as CPR, First Aid and AED training, with 2+ years of nursing experience. Experience in a school setting is preferred; proficiency with MS Office and Google Apps is

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2-year associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• School nursing or work with school-age children preferred.
• CPR, First Aid and AED training required; ability to teach these classes.
• Maintain confidentiality; strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and calmly under pressure.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Applications; data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support health, mental and social well-being of students.
• Perform health assessments, plan interventions and follow-ups.
• Provide health evaluations within the school setting.
• Communicate with parents and staff; maintain accurate records.
