MSD of Shakamak is seeking a reliable and qualified Substitute School Nurse to provide as-need coverage in the absence of the district's School Nurse. The position supports the day-to-day health needs of students and staff while maintaining a safe and responsive school environment.

The role is intended for short-term coverage and does not serve as the district's designated School Nurse or health services coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license through the Indiana State Board of Nursing
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Ability to respond to student health needs in a school setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, emergency care, or community health
• Familiarity with student health plans (IEPs/504s) and medication administration
• Strong communication and organizational skills
