Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Illinois is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or licensed vocational nurse (LVN) to work in a school setting. The role provides nursing care for students with medical needs, including trach/vent care, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring, diabetic care, and personal care.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ($35-$50), weekly pay, benefits including health, dental and vision, PTO and a 401(k). Prior LVN/LPN experience is preferred and a current BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year LVN/LPN experience preferred.

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, diabetic care).
• May ride the bus to and from school with the patient.
