Qualifications

• 60+ college credits or an associate degree or higher is required.
• Passing Para Pro exam is required.
• A bachelor’s degree and valid Florida teaching certificate are recommended.
• Experience administering local area networks is required.
• Ability to train and support classroom teachers enhances credibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and management of school networks.
• Assist with planning, design and installation of future network expansions.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot network hardware and software.
• Train staff in network and software use.
• Coordinate with outside vendors, consultants and trainers.
• Maintain inventory and network documentation.
• Ensure software licensing and security policies are maintained.
