Job summary
TrulyHired is seeking a Network Manager (11-month) in Florida to coordinate the installation and management of instructional and non-instructional school networks. Responsibilities include planning, installation, troubleshooting and training users on networked systems to support the school’s technology plan.
The role requires coordinating with vendors and staff, maintaining network security, and ensuring software licensing and backups.
Qualifications
- Sixty (60) or more college credit hours or an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited school or a passing score on the Para Pro exam required.
- Diploma from an accredited High school, Bachelor's degree and valid Florida teaching certificate recommended.
- Successful technical training or experience administering local area networks required.
- Less than a teaching degree greatly diminishes credibility when supporting faculty.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance, operation and management of school networks.
- Assist with planning, design and installation of future network expansions.
- Install and maintain network hardware/software; configure local workstations.
- Train staff and support backup network operators.
