Job summary

LYNC Transportation Services is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to oversee daily school transportation and NEMT operations. You will supervise drivers, dispatchers, and staff, coordinate routes and schedules, and ensure safe, reliable service.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, fleet maintenance oversight, data analysis of KPIs, and collaboration with schools and families. Monday–Friday schedule with variability; starting annual salary around $58k.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership to manage drivers and staff.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Experience developing and optimizing transportation routes and schedules.
• Proficient in data systems and routing platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drivers, transportation attendants, dispatchers, coordinators, and staff, providing leadership and coaching.
• Lead monthly meetings and trainings on safety, service standards, and procedures.
• Monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and provide coaching or corrective action.
• Plan, organize, and assign schedules for the transportation team.
• Lead daily dispatch operations and manage routes to ensure on-time performance.
• Ensure vehicles and staff comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with schools and parents to address issues and provide solutions.
