Job summary

PSI Solutions is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant to support the Eastlake Middle School clinic in the Willoughby-Eastlake City School District. This role focuses on daily health support, medication administration, and student wellness within a collaborative school team.

The position offers a predictable schedule (Mon, Tue, Fri, 8:15am–3:15pm; 19.5 hours/week) with no nights or weekends, and opportunities for professional development in a supportive, school-based environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program (Required).
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and communicable disease prevention.
• Experience with diabetes care a plus (training provided).
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day health support in the school clinic.
• Administer medications and monitor student health needs.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with basic healthcare procedures.
• Support communicable disease prevention protocols.
• Assist with diabetes care and other chronic health needs (training provided as needed).
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain documentation and confidentiality (HIPAA/FERPA compliance).
