Job summary

Valley Unified Regional Service Center is seeking Substitute Cook Helpers to assist in preparing and serving school meals under the supervision of the Food Service Director. They will help with meal preparation, serving, and post-meal cleaning in accordance with district procedures.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, and be able to work cooperatively with staff while maintaining confidentiality about students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving school meals according to the menu.

• Support in food disposal, tray return, and general clean-up.
