Worcester Cultural Academy Charter Public School is seeking a full-time, year-round School Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation and upkeep of our multi‑building campus serving students in grades K–7. Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Technician handles routine repairs, preventive maintenance, room and event setups, grounds work, and seasonal tasks across all campus buildings. This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in keeping a school safe, clean, and ready for students every morning. Candidates must share WCA's mission.

Worcester Cultural Academy Charter Public School opened in August 2023 and serves students in grades K–7. We are chartered for grades K–8. Our campus consists of multiple buildings, and the Maintenance Technician moves between them throughout the day as work requires.

Lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Stand and walk for extended periods, and move between multiple campus buildings throughout the shift, including outdoors in all weather conditions.
Bend, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and climb ladders and stairs.
Use hand and power tools, and safely handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with product instructions and safety data sheets.
At Worcester Cultural Academy, our faculty and staff collaborate and support one another and our students through a number of school‑wide activities, events, and celebrations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in these events, ranging from student and family orientation activities to celebrations of learning. We work together to support the safe and happy arrival and dismissal of our students, plan together, and use data to guide decision‑making.
