Description

The General Maintenance Worker manages work orders in a timely and efficient manner; completes hands‑on technical maintenance projects; conducts various routine inspections; troubleshoots; performs preventive maintenance; performs various types of maintenance tasks; works closely with the Pastor's office, School Principal, administrative staff of both the parish and the school, school faculty, ministries, vendors, contractors, and the Diocese of Phoenix Buildings and Property Office, as well as the property insurance provider. The General Maintenance Worker assists with special event set‑ups and break‑downs and moves and arranges furniture and equipment as needed. He/she collaborates as a member of the Maintenance Team to form and execute a cohesive approach to facility maintenance for the whole parish.

Requirements

Proven maintenance experience; High School diploma or GED; three or more years of hands‑on experience, including woodworking, plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, and painting. Possesses a valid Arizona Driver's license and maintains the annual Safe Environment Training Certification.
