Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current FWPS Employee or Guest Employee with Nutrition Services.
• Work scheduled hours on a consistent basis.
• Past experience in service industry serving the public, cash handling experience.
• Working knowledge of basic computer applications.
• National School Lunch Program experience.
• Member ASFSA, WSFSA.

Responsibilities

• Assist Kitchen Manager with lunch set‑up and cleanup.
• Communicate and serve meals to students; plate food per request.
• Collect cash, sell tickets, make change at mealtime; operate POS.
• Maintain records for lunches and ala-carte items sold.
• Verify milk deliveries and record leftovers.
• Check plate count with Kitchen Manager and keep cashier area tidy.
• Arrange food in attractive displays.
• Maintain confidentiality and dignity of students receiving free/reduced meals.
• Wash pots/pans and clean equipment; follow sanitation protocols.
• Attend all contracted meetings.
