Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of food service operations and food safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 35 pounds.
• Valid food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and menu plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Support inventory management by receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to ensure freshness and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards to prevent contamination and ensure the health of all consumers.
