Qualifications

• Educational Aide Permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education.
• Experience as a lunch or food service aide in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the cafeteria during mealtime and maintain order.
• Ensure tables and surrounding areas are clean and orderly.
• Supervise playground/classroom during lunch hour as needed.
• Assist students with food purchases, distribution, disposal and return of items.
• Monitor students to stay seated in assigned areas during mealtime.
• Circulate among tables to assist as needed and oversee orderly dismissal.
• Report safety concerns, infractions or injuries to staff as appropriate.
