Job summary

Twinsburg City School District is seeking a Lunchroom/Playground Assistant to help supervise students in the cafeteria and on the playground, ensuring a safe and orderly environment during mealtime and recreation.

The role requires an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education, with previous experience as a lunch or food service aide preferred, particularly in school settings.

Qualifications

• Educational Aide Permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education.
• Experience as a lunch or food service aide, preferably in a school district or with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the cafeteria during mealtime.
• Ensure tables and surrounding areas are clean.
• Supervise the playground during lunch hour.
• Assist with orderly food purchases, distribution of food, disposal of waste, and return of trays and utensils.
• Keep students seated in assigned areas during mealtime.
• Circulate among tables to be available as needed.
• Assist in orderly dismissal from the cafeteria.
