Job summary

Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations at Ballard Community School District. This hands-on leadership role requires staffing, food production, inventory control, and adherence to safety and nutrition guidelines.

You will coach staff, ensure on-time meals, and maintain quality while managing orders, prep, and compliance across the school meal program. Monday–Friday schedule keeps evenings free.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS Diploma or GED; supervisory experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations and supervise staff.
• Maintain HACCP logs, inventories, and production records.
• Coach team members and ensure HACCP/HAZCOM compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate with supervisors.
• Manage food and supply ordering and menu adjustments.
• Provide cross-district coverage when needed.
• Foster strong teamwork and positive communication.
