Qualifications

• Knowledge of meal requirements and safety and sanitation.
• Ability to obtain Food Manager Certificate.
• Recommend food service/nutrition background.
• Ability to promote and maintain effective communications.
• Positive public relations.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Possesses high standards of work ethics.
• Ability to handle money, add, and make change.
• The ability to keep accurate food production records.
• The ability to prepare all daily food requests, supply, bread, and milk orders.
• Ability to work in temperature extremes (walk-in cooler/freezer) hot kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and serve food for breakfast and lunch programs.
• Keep accurate food production records and temperature logs.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area, utensils, and equipment.
• Receive food/supplies and rotate products as needed.
• Prepare daily food requests and orders for supplies.
• Adhere to HACCP procedures and assist with inspections.
• Perform duties assigned by the Food Service Coordinator.
