Responsibilities

• Reviews weekly menus for planning food preparation schedule.
• Operates and maintains commercial food service equipment.
• Prepares a variety of menu items for daily service.
• Maintains temperature readings and proper food storage.
• Inputs data into the computer when applicable.
• Assists in training substitute cooks and coordinating with the Cafeteria Manager.
• Ensures safety and sanitation in the kitchen and storage areas.
• Performs related duties and supports school events when needed.
