Job summary

Portage Township Schools Food Service - Portage, Indiana is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant-Class B-Jones Elementary. The role supports meal prep, inventory, and cashier duties in a school setting. You will maintain sanitation, assist with reports, and interact with students and staff in a positive manner.

Starting date is Immediate with a 7:30am-1:00pm shift during the school year. The position requires a food handler certification and adherence to safety policies.

• Kitchen duties and dishwashing, maintaining sanitation standards.
• Attend trainings and follow safety and department guidelines.
• Support school food service promotions and cross-training as needed.
