Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School LPN/LVN in Lansing, KS to provide nursing support for students in the school setting. Responsibilities include monitoring health concerns, administering medications, and offering first aid while following district policies and state requirements.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, pediatric/school nursing experience preferred, and the ability to maintain health records and communicate with families and staff.

Qualifications

Valid LPN/LVN license in good standing.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably with children.
Ability to monitor student health and administer medications.
Knowledge of health record keeping and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Monitor student health concerns and provide nursing support.
Administer medications and treatments as delegated or ordered.
Provide first aid and care for illness or injury.
Support students with chronic health needs and maintain records.
Communicate with families and school staff about health needs.
Work closely with the school nurse to ensure safety and learning.
Promote health education and disease prevention.
