Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking an LPN to cover needs in local school districts across Lackawanna County. The role involves direct medical care, IHPS/IEP collaboration, and health education for students with chronic or acute needs.

Qualifications

Current Nursing License in the State of PA.
Minimum One Year Relative Experience; Required
CPR Certification
Valid Driver's License
Willing to Undergo Pre-employment Screenings

Responsibilities

Provide Direct Medical Care: Administer Medications, Perform Health Procedures, and Respond to Medical Emergencies for Students with Chronic or Acute Health Needs.
Develop and Implement Health Plans: Create IHPS and Emergency Action Plans (IEPs) with Educators and Families.
Monitor Student Health Needs: Track and Assess Students’ Health, especially with disabilities or special medical conditions.
Educate on Health and Hygiene: Teach Students Basic Hygiene, Self-care, and Health-related Life Skills.
Support Special Education Teams: Participate in IEP Meetings and provide health input for educational planning.
Promote a Safe and Inclusive Environment: Ensure classroom safety, train staff on health protocols.
