Interim Healthcare is seeking an LPN to cover local school districts in Lackawanna County, PA. This role involves direct patient care for students, developing IHPs and IEPs, and collaborating with educators and families to ensure safe, healthy learning environments.

Responsibilities include health monitoring, student education on hygiene, and supporting IEP meetings. Requires PA license, CPR, and reliable transportation; benefits include health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License in the State of PA.
• Minimum One (1) Year Relative Experience; Required
• CPR Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willing to Undergo Pre-employment Screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Medical Care: Administer Medications, Perform Health Procedures, and Respond to Medical Emergencies for Students with Chronic or Acute Health Needs.
• Develop and Implement Health Plans: Create and Maintain IHPS and Emergency Action Plans (IEPs) in Collaboration with Educators and Families.
• Monitor Student Health Needs: Track and Assess Students' Physical and Emotional Health, Especially Those with Disabilities or Special Medical Conditions.
• Educate on Health and Hygiene: Teach Students Basic Hygiene, Self-care, and Life Skills Related to Health, Tailored to Developmental and Cognitive Levels.
• Support Special Education Teams: Participate in IEP Meetings and Provide Health-related Input for Students' Educational Planning.
• Promote a Safe and Inclusive Environment: Ensure the Classroom Is Safe and Accessible, Train Staff on Health Protocols, and Advocate for Students’ Health-related Needs.
