The School LPN/LVN position in Harrisburg, PA supports students in a school setting under state nursing regulations. You will monitor health concerns, administer medications, provide first aid, and work closely with the school nurse to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.

Minimum requirements include a current LPN/LVN license, at least one year of nursing experience (preferably in a school or pediatric setting), CPR if applicable, and the ability to meet federal, state and local

Qualifications

Current, active LPN/LVN license.
One year of nursing experience, preferably in a school, pediatric, community health, or public health setting.
Experience working with children and adolescents.
Knowledge of community health resources and public health services.
Complies with all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsabilités

Monitor student health concerns and provide nursing support in the school setting.
Administer medications and treatments as delegated or ordered.
Provide first aid and care for illness or injury.
Support students with chronic health needs and coordinate with the school nurse.
Maintain accurate health records and communicate with families and school staff.
Promote health education, disease prevention, and student well-being within district guidelines.
