Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks an LPN/LVN for a contract school-based position near Ashburn, VA to support a student requiring seizure management. The role is onsite with a 7:30am–3:30pm schedule, 1:1 care, and collaboration with teachers, parents, and the care team.

Responsibilities include seizure monitoring, administering medication, and maintaining health records while promoting student safety and independence in a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license or eligibility to practice in the state.
• Recent experience in pediatric, school, or similar setting is preferred.
• Ability to monitor and respond to seizures, including rescue medication and first aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide vigilant seizure monitoring and immediate intervention throughout the school day (including bus rides).
• Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation of health care activities.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and Clinical Advisory Team to ensure seamless care and communication.
• Support student well-being, independence, and a positive school experience.

Youll work onsite only, following a consistent weekday schedule from 7:30am to 3:30pm, making an immediate difference in a supportive, collaborative school community.

• Proven ability to monitor and respond to seizures, including administering rescue medication and appropriate first aid.

• Compassionate demeanor and comfort working closely in a 1:1 environment, including riding the bus with your assigned student as needed.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and the schools interdisciplinary care team.
