Plainville Community Schools is seeking a Float LPN to support school health offices across the district under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The position covers RN absences, assists on field trips, and helps students with health needs and related therapy tasks as directed by certified staff.

The role requires knowledge of first aid, crisis response, and medication administration, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN license.
• Knowledge of health regulations and school health protocols.
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility (hoyer lift as needed).
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support school health offices across the district.
• Cover RN absences and assist on field trips.
• Provide care for students with health needs under supervision of RN.
• Assist with special health needs and documentation as directed.
