Job summary

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• One year of professional work experience.
• Basic knowledge of typical office equipment (phones, copiers, fax, email).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate English language skills.
• Advanced interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain library books, periodicals, and online resources, including inventory and circulation desk duties.
• Prepare library displays and visual aids; manage schedule for media equipment usage and related supplies.
• Assist students with curriculum reinforcement and information literacy skills.
• Supervise students and parent volunteers in the media center.
• Perform basic clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and inventory.
• Attend District Library staff development and perform other duties as assigned.
