Stratford Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal at Second Hill Lane to support the Principal in daily school operations and drive academic excellence. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with staff and families, and effective program development.

The candidate will analyze student data, design instructional improvements, and oversee staff development, budgets, and community programs to promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Education Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Principal in the development and implementation of educational programs and policies that enhance student learning and achievement.
• Supervise and evaluate teaching staff, providing guidance and support to improve instructional practices.
• Collaborate with teachers to design and implement effective curriculum and assessment strategies.
• Manage student discipline and behavior interventions, ensuring a safe and supportive school environment.
• Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Engage with parents, guardians, and the community to build strong relationships and promote school initiatives.
• Analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
• Oversee extracurricular programs and activities, promoting student engagement and leadership opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, grants, and funding proposals to support school programs.
• Support the Principal in school-wide initiatives, special projects, and various other duties as assigned by the Principal.
