Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group in Illinois is seeking a Food Service Utility Worker to keep our school kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly. You’ll wash dishes, sanitize prep areas, and assist with basic tasks to support meal service for students.

No nights or weekends, on-the-job training, and a friendly school environment are offered. Must be able to lift 40 pounds and speak English; prior food service experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Prior food service or janitorial experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize prep areas, counters, and floors.
• Take out trash and keep storage areas tidy.
• Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries.
• Support the kitchen team with basic prep tasks when needed.
