Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is hiring a School Food Service Worker to join our nutrition team, working Monday through Friday with no nights or weekends. You’ll prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff, while following food safety rules in a school kitchen.

No experience required—training is provided. This role offers competitive pay at $16/hour, opportunities for growth, and paid time off, with a supportive school community helping you make a positive impact on kids\' health.

Qualifications

• Must complete Whitsons and government-mandated training.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required
• Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes and safety rules

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience
