Job summary

Whitsons is seeking a School Food Service Worker to join our nutrition team. You’ll prep, portion and serve meals to students and staff, set up stations, and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced kitchen.

This full-time/part-time role offers training, a supportive team, and opportunities to help improve student health. No experience is required as training is provided, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
